Finding Mutuals
See which connections you share with someone.
See which 1st degree connections you share with someone. That is useful when you want shared context before a meeting, or when you want to know who can vouch for you.
In Chat
Ask in plain language:
"Who do I know in common with Jamie Chen?"
"What mutuals do I share with this LinkedIn profile?"
With the MCP server
The Icebreaker MCP server is available on every plan, including Free. Use the get_mutuals tool (also named get_mutuals_tool).
Pass one or more social paths for the person you care about, for example linkedin/username or a path from a search result. The tool returns your shared 1st degree connections, sorted by Signal score.
It only looks at direct connections. It does not return 2nd degree paths.
See Available Tools for parameters and examples, and MCP Quickstart to connect the server.
Tips
- Get the target's social path from a search result (
identifiers.social_pathorsocialPaths). - A higher Signal score usually means a stronger shared connection.
- If results look thin, connect more accounts at app.icebreaker.xyz/settings/linked-accounts.
